In Saturday Still Life we will learn the foundational principles of color theory and how to mix color from life as we explore still life as our subject. We will experiment with color harmonies, composition as a field of visual relationships and the ability of oil paint to hold and to transmit feeling.

Materials
Students bring their own oil paints and brushes
The Studio will provide backup supplies
