Experience the magic of circus artists in action by capturing their poses with your favorite drawing medium.

We are collaborating with the New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA) for their Vermont Circus Festival 2025. We will be drawing circus artists at NECCA and at The Drawing Studio.

Circus artists will be modeling in their adjusted training outfits and hold a range of dynamic poses from 1 up to 5 or 10 minutes. At NECCA, each model will hold poses on their aerial apparatus. At The Drawing Studio, there will be two circus artists modeling together, showing their acrobatic skills.

This will not be instructed, but some tips will be shared to help you get started. All levels welcome.

Artists should bring their own drawing supplies. If you are new to drawing from life, thick vine charcoal and a wiping cloth are highly recommended.

Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for smooth setup and a timely start!
