Experience the magic of drawing circus artists in action — capture their dynamic poses with your favorite medium during this rare life drawing opportunity.

We are collaborating with the New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA) for their Vermont Circus Festival 2026. We will be drawing circus artists at NECCA and at The Drawing Studio.

Circus artists will be modeling in their adjusted training outfits and hold a range of dynamic poses, starting from short warm up poses leading up to longer ones, (1 to 10 minutes), with more extended poses than last year. At NECCA, two models will alternate poses on their aerial apparatus. At The Drawing Studio, two circus artists will model both individually and as a duo, using floor acrobatics.

This will not be instructed, but some tips will be shared to help you get started. All levels welcome. Artists should bring their own drawing supplies — please make sure to bring plenty of paper. We will provide a range of seating options, including drawing benches and easels. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early for smooth setup and a timely start!
