Joren A. Lindholm

Joren A. Lindholm is a painter, collage artist and educator based in Vermont and Washington, DC. At first simply a painter, Lindholm’s collage method became a regular feature of his output after years of color theory and media exploration. As a fan of rhythm and impulse, Joren’s ethos has sustained a continuous search for edges, and once drawn, the act of crossing them. Since his training at the the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture in the late 1990s, Lindholm has taught drawing and painting to groups and individuals of all ages. Lindholm has been an instructor and faculty member of the Washington Studio School for the last fifteen years, and part of the exhibition-based artist collective Painting in New York for the last twenty years. Joren holds a BA in Studio Art from Knox College and an MFA in Painting from The American University in Washington, DC.
